It truly was a magical anniversary week in Cabo San Lucas. For those of you who know me, and have followed me for some time, you know that I am a big believer that no matter where you travel, your health and your wellness travel right along with you.
As a wellness and nutrition expert, I often get asked: "How do I travel and stay healthy with all the temptations?"
The answer to me is simple really. You just make your lifestyle flexible so you can have both. What do I mean? The two aren’t mutually exclusive. You may have heard 'Everything in moderation' a million times, but I promise it's true! You don’t have to overindulge. You can and you should enjoy.
Here are just some of the delicious foods we enjoyed. No guilt here, all delicious full of flavor variety of menu options. Fresh to order nothing overly salted and high in sugar that only makes your vacation less enjoyable. Enjoy life, eat well.
If you want to travel often, like many of you do, finding resorts that offer high-quality food and not the typical buffet should be a focus.
This is why I chose to stay at the Hacienda Encantada Resort in Cabo San Lucas.
You better believe that I do my research before I book travel because it’s a TOTAL package. If I am going to invest, I want to make sure that it’s not just about the location but about the total experience.
That being said... The location and grounds are some of the most exquisite. The picturesque scenery was made perfect alongside it's atmosphere. I was impressed by how truly kind and receptive the entire staff was. In my opinion, they are the heroes that make any vacation memorable. At some resorts, the beaches get so packed, it may take a while to get your food and drinks. You won't find that to be a problem at the Hacienda Encantada, they make you feel like royalty!
We did plenty of walking (or you could ride in the complimentary golf carts) as we explored the main resort groups that have breath-taking views and gardens. It also has 3 beautiful infinity pools!
YES! I even got balcony workouts in! One afternoon I visited the gym over at the residence (the luxury complex that is adjacent to the main hotel that we are hoping to visit the next time we come to Cabo.) I had total FOMO, the views from the gym facing the water were insane! The pool and panoramic views from the residence were something I would love to share with you all, so stay tuned for that!
We had a great time and cannot wait to visit Cabo and this resort again very soon! The resort felt more like a home away from home with outstanding guest service and true Mexican authentic hospitality.
Truly a Magical Resort with soaring views of the shining Sea of Cortez and surrounding beaches of the Baja Peninsula create an incredible backdrop for every photo captured!
